This is me
Business And Marketing Undergraduate Student
Currently I study Marketing and Management, in the University of East Anglia, one of the top 20 UK Universities. I have achieved an average 78.2 in my first year, and I am predicted to achieve a first on my second year.
I worked as a Marketing Assistant in this family owned hotel in south Brazil. There I had the opportunity of participating in various marketing processes, from directing photoshoots, to editing pictures to deploy on social media, to developing social media strategies. This position allowed me to gain experience with a myriad of marketing tools, ranging from email marketing, to social media, to editing websites with WordPress.
Worldr provided me with the perfect environment to test my research skills, as well as my ability to learn rapidly and deal with high-pressure environments. I joined this up-and-coming IT startup with very little knowledge of compliance and LGPD, and I quickly learned, with the help of my peers and a lot of determined self study, the ins and outs of this field.
There I had the role of assisting the Chief Operating Officer with whatever he required, from making briefings to presentations, having to research information and break it down into crucial points so he could raise points in meetings. I also was involved in proving that Brazil is a really good market to invest in, going forward with the company. In the process of preparing for entering the Brazilian market, I ended up translating the company’s website to Portuguese, recontextualizing and copywriting for the new version.
Throughout my life I have been blessed with many opportunities, from great education, to the chance of studying and living abroad. And one of my greatest pleasures in life is being able to give back to my community back in Brazil.
I have been involved with multiple philantropic projects, with my dearest being the “adoption” Nossa Senhora de Azambuja kindergarten, in Palhoca, Brazil. I was devastated due to the lack of funds that the institution had been receiving, and harsh weather at the time had caused one of the rooms of the building to collapse. I could not stand by, so I created and led multiple fund raisers and donation campaigns in order to help.
As a result, we repainted the school, rebuilt the collapsing room and donated over 500 pounds and 200 clothes to the staff and families involved with the kindergarten.
I am fluent in these languages and I have the cultural understanding to back up my communication efforts in diverse environments.
I have experience in reading data and identifying trends, enabling me to develop social media strategies. Cross platform content creation/management and campaign assessment are key.
Experienced in creating social media content (posts, stories, reels and tiktoks), as well as photo editing. Poetry Lover.
I strive to be independent at my tasks, and to finish them with excellence, as fast as possible.
I have experience in being able to manage multiple time-gated projects at the same time, delivering them with excellence within their specific time-frames.
